IT jobs claimed a 4.83% share in the company’s total hiring activity in September 2021, and recorded a 0.46% growth over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Air Products and Chemicals IT hiring in September 2021
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Air Products and Chemicals, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 52.38% in September 2021, and a 47.62% drop over August 2021, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 14.29% in September 2021, and registered growth of 50%. Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 14.29% in September 2021, a 25% drop from August 2021.
North America drives IT hiring at Air Products and Chemicals
North America emerged as the leading region in the global oil & gas IT hiring activity in September 2021 with a 52.38% share, which marked a 50% drop over the previous month.
Asia-Pacific stood next with 33.33%, registering a 36.36% month-on-month decline. Europe was the third leading region with a 9.52% share and a flat growth over August 2021.
In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 4.76% and a month-on-month flat growth.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s oil & gas industry IT hiring activity with a 52.38% share in September 2021, a 50% decline over August 2021. India featured next with a 19.05% share, down 60% over the previous month. China recorded a 9.52% share, an increase of 100% compared with August 2021.
Mid Level jobs lead Air Products and Chemicals IT hiring activity in September 2021
Mid Level jobs held a share of 57.14%, down by 42.86% from August 2021. Junior Level positions with a 33.33% share, a decline of 22.22% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 9.52% share, down 33.33% over August 2021.
