The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 1.73% in September 2021 when compared with August 2021.
IT jobs claimed a 5.36% share in the company’s total hiring activity in September 2021, and recorded a 0.16% decline over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops BASF IT hiring in September 2021
Out of the total IT job titles posted by BASF, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 70.45% in September 2021, and an 8.82% drop over August 2021, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 15.91% in September 2021, and registered growth of 40%. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 11.36% in September 2021, a 66.67% rise from August 2021.
Europe drives IT hiring at BASF
Europe emerged as the leading region in the global oil & gas IT hiring activity in September 2021 with a 45.45% share, which marked a 35.48% drop over the previous month.
Asia-Pacific stood next with 38.64%, registering an 112.5% month-on-month growth. North America was the third leading region with a 15.91% share and a 16.67% rise over August 2021.
Germany commanded a leading presence in the region’s oil & gas industry IT hiring activity with a 45.45% share in September 2021, a 35.48% decline over August 2021. Malaysia featured next with a 25% share, up 266.67% over the previous month.
Junior Level jobs lead BASF IT hiring activity in September 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 77.27%, up by 3.03% from August 2021. Mid Level positions with an 11.36% share, a flat growth compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with an 11.36% share, down 28.57% over August 2021.
