Asia-Pacific drives IT hiring at BP

Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global oil & gas IT hiring activity in February 2022 with a 60.87% share, which marked a 6.67% drop over the previous month.

Europe stood next with 28.26%, registering an 18.18% month-on-month growth. North America was the third leading region with a 10.87% share and a 150% rise over January 2022.

India commanded a leading presence in the region’s oil & gas industry IT hiring activity with a 52.17% share in February 2022, a 14.29% decline over January 2022. The UK featured next with a 26.09% share, up 20% over the previous month. US recorded a 10.87% share, an increase of 400% compared with January 2022.

Junior Level jobs lead BP IT hiring activity in February 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 63.04%, up by 70.59% from January 2022. Mid Level positions with a 30.43% share, a decline of 46.15% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 6.52% share, flat growth over January 2022.
