The industry’s overall hiring increased by 0.25% in November 2021 when compared with October 2021.
Out of the oil & gas industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 12.67% share in November 2021, recording a decrease of 0.04% over the last three-month average share.

By GlobalData1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 41.46% in November 2021, registering a flat growth over the previous month.
2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 21.95% share, an increase of 80% over the previous month.
3) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 17.07%, registering a 40% rise from October 2021.
4) Computer Support Specialists captured a share of 14.63%, up 50% over the previous month.
Top five oil & gas companies in Hungary’s IT recruitment activity in November 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 20.59% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Hungary’s oil & gas industry during November 2021 over October 2021.
Exxon Mobil posted 21 IT jobs in November 2021 and registered a drop of 8.7% over the previous month, followed by MOL Hungarian Oil and Gas with 9 jobs and a 200% growth. BP with 7 IT jobs and World Fuel Services with 3 jobs, recorded a 40% growth and a flat growth, respectively, while Baker Hughes recorded a decline of 66.67% with 1 job postings during November 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in November 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 73.17%, up by 11.11% from October 2021. Mid Level positions with a 14.63% share, registered a decline of 14.29% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 12.2% share, up 400% over October 2021.
