The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 6.01% in August 2022 when compared with July 2022.
Out of the oil & gas industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 5.89% share in August 2022, recording a decrease of 0.05% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Netherlands oil & gas industry’s IT recruitment activity in August 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 96.3% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Netherlands oil & gas industry in August 2022.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 33.33% in August 2022, registering a 28.57% growth over the previous month.
2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 25.93% share, an increase of 40% over the previous month.
3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 18.52%, registering a 16.67% decline from July 2022.
4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 11.11%, flat growth over the previous month.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average flat growth share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Netherlands oil & gas industry during August 2022 over July 2022.
Brenntag posted 8 IT jobs in August 2022 and registered a rise of 700% over the previous month, followed by Akzo Nobel with 5 jobs and a 28.57% drop. Shell with 4 IT jobs and Yara International with 2 jobs, recorded a 55.56% decline and a flat growth, respectively, while Stolt-Nielsen recorded a flat growth with 2 job postings during August 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in August 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 74.07%, up by 17.65% from July 2022. Mid Level positions with a 14.81% share, registered a decline of 42.86% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with an 11.11% share, up 50% over July 2022.
