The oil and gas production of BHP Billiton declined 5.98% in November 2021 from 230.26 boe/d in November 2020.
On a YTD basis, the company’s total oil and gas production decreased by 4.76% from the same period in 2020.
The company’s oil production declined 48.57% to 8.43 bd in November 2021 from the previous month, while gas production up by 4.31% to 1.21 mmcf/d. On a YTD basis, oil production decreased by 4.61% in 2021 when compared with the same period in 2020, while gas production declined by 4.8%. Out of the total oil and gas production in November 2021, oil production held a 3.89% share, while gas production held a 96.37% share.
Looking at the states where BHP Billiton recorded the highest oil and gas production in November 2021, New Mexico figured at the top, accounting for a 2.21% share. The company produced 211.8 boe/d in the state in November 2021, an increase of 0.18% from the previous month.
On a YTD basis, the company produced 2,415.83 boe/d in New Mexico in 2021, recording a decrease of 6.67% from the same period in 2020.
BHP Billiton witnessed the highest oil and gas production in San Juan county in November 2021. Out of all the counties, San Juan county held a share of 81.28% for the firm. The company produced 175.95 boe/d in San Juan county in November 2021, an increase of 5.04% in production when compared with the previous month.
On a YTD basis, the county produced 1,943.76 boe/d for the company in 2021, a 6.37% decrease from the same period in 2020.
