CNOOC Jiangsu Natural Gas will operate the upcoming Binhai LNG regasification terminal, proposed to be built in Jiangsu in China. The terminal is expected to start operations in 2022 and will be owned by China National Offshore Oil and Huainan Mining Group.
The Binhai LNG regasification terminal has a proposed regasification capacity of 146.1bcf/annum (billion cubic feet) and storage capacity of 0.4 million tons (Mt).
Subsequent expansion at the Binhai regasification terminal will increase its capacity by 146.1bcf/annum.
During the period 2021-2025, the Binhai regasification terminal is expected to witness an estimated capex of $1,598m.
