BlackGold (Harvest Operations Corp.) is a producing oil sands field located onshore Canada and is operated by Harvest Operations.

An expansion project is associated with the BlackGold (Harvest Operations Corp.), namely BlackGold Phase 2. This project is currently in the approval stage.

The BlackGold (Harvest Operations Corp.) oil sands field recovered 8.52% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production expected in 2041. The peak production will approximately 9.01 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2063.


Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 96.38 Mmboe, comprised of 96.38 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate. BlackGold (Harvest Operations Corp.) oil sands field reserves accounts 0.25% of total remaining reserves of producing oil sands fields globally.
