Cantera Operating records 2.34% decrease in production in July 2021

Cantera Operating recorded a decrease of 2.34% in total oil and gas production to 375.88 boe/d in July 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s USL48 database.

The oil and gas production of Cantera Operating declined 25.04% in July 2021 from 501.47 boe/d in July 2020.

On a YTD basis, the company’s total oil and gas production decreased by 25.05% from the same period in 2020.

The company’s gas production declined by 3.74% to 2.06 mmcf/d in July 2021 from the previous month. On a YTD basis, gas production declined by 24.35% in 2021 when compared with the same period in 2020. Out of the total oil and gas production in July 2021, gas production held a 94.49% share.

Looking at the states where Cantera Operating recorded the highest oil and gas production in July 2021, Texas figured at the top, accounting for a 100% share. The company produced 375.88 boe/d in the state in July 2021, a decrease of 2.34% from the previous month.

On a YTD basis, the company produced 2,881.74 boe/d in Texas in 2021, recording a decrease of 25.05% from the same period in 2020.



Cantera Operating witnessed the highest oil and gas production in Lavaca county in July 2021. Out of all the counties, Lavaca county held a share of 38.19% for the firm. The company produced 143.53 boe/d in Lavaca county in July 2021, a decrease of 1.92% in production when compared with the previous month.

On a YTD basis, the county produced 1,131.59 boe/d for the company in 2021, a 23.99% decrease from the same period in 2020.
