Chevron recorded an increase of 7.59% in total oil and gas production to 7,64,654.16 boe/d in July 2020 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s USL48 database.
The oil and gas production of Chevron declined 2.95% in July 2020 from 7,87,928.5 boe/d in July 2019.
On a YTD basis, the company’s total oil and gas production increased by 10.4% from the same period in 2019.
The company’s oil production grew 5.46% to 3,79,442.82 bd in July 2020 from the previous month, while gas production up by 11.11% to 1,885.71 mmcf/d. On a YTD basis, oil production increased by 1.76% in 2020 when compared with the same period in 2019, while gas production rose by 15.5%. Out of the total oil and gas production in July 2020, oil production held a 49.62% share, while gas production held a 42.52% share.
Looking at the states where Chevron recorded the highest oil and gas production in July 2020, Texas figured at the top, accounting for a 0.03% share. The company produced 3,59,022.34 boe/d in the state in July 2020, an increase of 4.93% from the previous month.
On a YTD basis, the company produced 25,58,687.52 boe/d in Texas in 2020, recording a decrease of 47.27% from the same period in 2019.
Chevron witnessed the highest oil and gas production in Weld county in July 2020. Out of all the counties, Weld county held a share of 22.35% for the firm. The company produced 1,70,889.54 boe/d in Weld county in July 2020, an increase of 14.79% in production when compared with the previous month.
On a YTD basis, the county produced 12,10,169.24 boe/d for the company in 2020, a 2.35% decrease from the same period in 2019.
