Denver-Julesburg (DJ) Shale witnessed a decrease of 0.89% in total oil and gas production to 9,90,723.02 boe/d in November 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s USL48 database.

The oil and gas production in Denver-Julesburg (DJ) grew 6.99% in November 2021 from 9,25,961.25 boe/d in November 2020. On a YTD basis, the total oil and gas production in the play decreased by 5.85% from the same period in 2020.

In Denver-Julesburg (DJ), oil production declined 1.29% in November 2021 as compared with the previous month, while gas production decreased by 0.54% to 3,069.79 mmcf/d.

On a YTD basis, oil production in the play decreased by 11.01% in 2021 when compared with the same period in 2020, while gas production declined by 1.15%. Out of the total oil and gas production in November 2021, oil held a 46.58% share, while gas had a 53.42% share.


In Denver-Julesburg (DJ), Occidental Petroleum emerged as the largest oil and gas producer, recording a total oil and gas production at 2,18,642.82 boe/d in November 2021, a decrease of 2.62% from the previous month. The company held an 18% share in oil production and 25.62% share in gas production in November 2021.
