Earthstone Energy recorded an increase of 2.19% in total oil and gas production to 56,590.13 boe/d in December 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s USL48 database.

The oil and gas production of Earthstone Energy grew 6.6% in December 2021 from 53,085.02 boe/d in December 2020.

On a YTD basis, the company’s total oil and gas production decreased by 7.16% from the same period in 2020.

The company’s oil production declined 1.52% to 28,431.74 bd in December 2021 from the previous month, while gas production up by 6.24% to 163.32 mmcf/d. On a YTD basis, oil production decreased by 16.09% in 2021 when compared with the same period in 2020, while gas production rose by 5.35%. Out of the total oil and gas production in December 2021, oil production held a 50.24% share, while gas production held a 49.76% share.


Looking at the states where Earthstone Energy recorded the highest oil and gas production in December 2021, Texas figured at the top, accounting for a 100% share. The company produced 45,153.58 boe/d in the state in December 2021, an increase of 5.09% from the previous month.

On a YTD basis, the company produced 4,70,614.16 boe/d in Texas in 2021, recording a decrease of 29.7% from the same period in 2020.



Earthstone Energy witnessed the highest oil and gas production in Irion county in December 2021. Out of all the counties, Irion county held a share of 27.59% for the firm. The company produced 15,615.15 boe/d in Irion county in December 2021, an increase of 17.46% in production when compared with the previous month.

On a YTD basis, the county produced 1,46,399.64 boe/d for the company in 2021, a 15.19% decrease from the same period in 2020.
