Fayetteville Shale witnessed a decrease of 2.25% in total oil and gas production to 2,01,763.92 boe/d in January 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s USL48 database.
The oil and gas production in Fayetteville declined 7.53% in January 2022 from 2,18,184.12 boe/d in January 2021. On a YTD basis, the total oil and gas production in the play decreased by 7.53% from the same period in 2021.
In Fayetteville, oil production grew 8.24% in January 2022 as compared with the previous month, while gas production decreased by 2.25% to 1,170.13 mmcf/d.
On a YTD basis, oil production in the play increased by 140.9% in 2022 when compared with the same period in 2021, while gas production declined by 7.53%. Out of the total oil and gas production in January 2022, oil held a 0.01% share, while gas had a 99.99% share.
In Fayetteville, Flywheel Energy Production emerged as the largest oil and gas producer, recording a total oil and gas production at 1,28,165.67 boe/d in January 2022 from the previous month. The company held a 63.53% share in gas production in January 2022.
On a YTD basis, the company registered a 9.39% decrease in total oil and gas production from the same period in 2021.
Compared with other counties within Fayetteville Shale, Van Buren county recorded the highest oil and gas production, holding a 22.61% share in January 2022. The county witnessed in production to 45,614.2 boe/d in January 2022 when compared with the previous month.
On a YTD basis, it registered a decline of 8.58% in total production from the same period in 2021.
