Forcados Yokri is a producing conventional oil field located onshore Nigeria and is operated by Shell Petroleum Development Co of Nigeria. The field is located in block OML 43.

The field is owned by Nigerian National Petroleum, Royal Dutch Shell, TotalEnergies and Eni.


Production from Forcados Yokri

The Forcados Yokri conventional oil field recovered 79.99% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 1980. The peak production was approximately 150.19 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2038. The field currently accounts for approximately 4% of the country’s daily output.


Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 274.37 Mmboe, comprised of 236.19 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 229.04 bcf of natural gas reserves. Forcados Yokri conventional oil field reserves accounts 0.06% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional oil fields globally.
