Greater Plutonio Complex is a producing conventional oil field located in deepwater in Angola and is operated by Bp Angola (Block 18). The field is located in block Block 18 and Block 18 Greater Plutonio Development Area, with water depth of 4,061 feet.

Production from Greater Plutonio Complex

The Greater Plutonio Complex conventional oil field recovered 82.44% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2013. The peak production was approximately 178.22 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2037. The field currently accounts for approximately 3% of the country’s daily output.
