Hoover Conventional Oil Field, US

Hoover is a producing conventional oil field located in deepwater in the US and is operated by Exxon Mobil. The field is located in block Alaminos Canyon 25 and Alaminos Canyon 26, with water depth of 4,809 feet.

Production from Hoover

The Hoover conventional oil field recovered 92.82% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2002. The peak production was approximately 43.66 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 55 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2035.


Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 7.61 Mmboe, comprised of 7.4 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 1.26 bcf of natural gas reserves.
