Killam Oil records 5.61% decrease in production in July 2021

Killam Oil recorded a decrease of 5.61% in total oil and gas production to 3,347.37 boe/d in July 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s USL48 database.

The oil and gas production of Killam Oil declined 2.84% in July 2021 from 3,445.23 boe/d in July 2020.

On a YTD basis, the company’s total oil and gas production decreased by 10.82% from the same period in 2020.

The company’s oil production declined 9.25% to 484.05 bd in July 2021 from the previous month, while gas production declined by 5.28% to 15.97 mmcf/d. On a YTD basis, oil production decreased by 0.5% in 2021 when compared with the same period in 2020, while gas production declined by 12.56%. Out of the total oil and gas production in July 2021, oil production held a 14.46% share, while gas production held an 82.26% share.

Looking at the states where Killam Oil recorded the highest oil and gas production in July 2021, Texas figured at the top, accounting for a 100% share. The company produced 3,347.37 boe/d in the state in July 2021, a decrease of 5.61% from the previous month.

On a YTD basis, the company produced 23,527.52 boe/d in Texas in 2021, recording a decrease of 10.82% from the same period in 2020.



Killam Oil witnessed the highest oil and gas production in Webb county in July 2021. Out of all the counties, Webb county held a share of 60.94% for the firm. The company produced 2,040.05 boe/d in Webb county in July 2021, a decrease of 5.12% in production when compared with the previous month.

On a YTD basis, the county produced 14,480.63 boe/d for the company in 2021, a 6.92% decrease from the same period in 2020.
