Kinder Morgan recorded an increase of 9.77% in total oil and gas production to 2,39,408.33 boe/d in January 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s USL48 database.

The oil and gas production of Kinder Morgan grew 19.96% in January 2022 from 1,99,567.38 boe/d in January 2021.

On a YTD basis, the company’s total oil and gas production increased by 19.96% from the same period in 2021.

The company’s oil production grew 16.73% to 52,710.14 bd in January 2022 from the previous month, while gas production up by 7.94% to 1,082.78 mmcf/d. On a YTD basis, oil production increased by 18.59% in 2022 when compared with the same period in 2021, while gas production rose by 20.35%. Out of the total oil and gas production in January 2022, oil production held a 22.02% share, while gas production held a 77.98% share.


Looking at the states where Kinder Morgan recorded the highest oil and gas production in January 2022, Colorado figured at the top, accounting for a 0.13% share. The company produced 1,51,737.23 boe/d in the state in January 2022 from the previous month.

On a YTD basis, the company produced 1,51,737.23 boe/d in Colorado in 2022, recording a decrease of 23.97% from the same period in 2021.



Kinder Morgan witnessed the highest oil and gas production in Montezuma county in January 2022. Out of all the counties, Montezuma county held a share of 57.99% for the firm.

On a YTD basis, the county produced 1,38,837.59 boe/d for the company in 2022, a 23.73% increase from the same period in 2021.
