Lamar Oil & Gas records 7.23% decrease in production in January 2022

Lamar Oil & Gas recorded a decrease of 7.23% in total oil and gas production to 372.91 boe/d in January 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s USL48 database.

The oil and gas production of Lamar Oil & Gas declined 12.97% in January 2022 from 428.46 boe/d in January 2021.

On a YTD basis, the company’s total oil and gas production decreased by 12.97% from the same period in 2021.

The company’s oil production declined 19.62% to 31.51 bd in January 2022 from the previous month, while gas production declined by 5.71% to 1.65 mmcf/d. On a YTD basis, oil production decreased by 29.95% in 2022 when compared with the same period in 2021, while gas production declined by 11.76%. Out of the total oil and gas production in January 2022, oil production held an 8.45% share, while gas production held a 76.29% share.


Looking at the states where Lamar Oil & Gas recorded the highest oil and gas production in January 2022, Texas figured at the top, accounting for a 2.63% share. The company produced 363.36 boe/d in the state in January 2022 from the previous month.

On a YTD basis, the company produced 363.36 boe/d in Texas in 2022, recording a decrease of 15.19% from the same period in 2021.



Lamar Oil & Gas witnessed the highest oil and gas production in Aransas county in January 2022. Out of all the counties, Aransas county held a share of 57.97% for the firm.

On a YTD basis, the county produced 216.17 boe/d for the company in 2022, a 31.79% decrease from the same period in 2021.
