A total of 12 contracts were registered in the LNG liquefaction and regasification segment globally during the month, when compared with the last 12-month moving average of 14 contracts.


LNG Liquefication sub-segment reported nine contracts, representing 69% of the total 13 LNG contracts, followed by four contracts in the LNG regasification sub-segment.

Asia-Pacific took the top position with five contracts and a 42% share of the total LNG contracts globally in December 2021, followed by Europe and North America with four (33%) and two (17%) contracts, respectively.

During the month, the majority of contracts in the LNG segment were awarded in the operations & maintenance with six contracts, followed by design & engineering and procurement with four and three contracts, respectively.
