The midstream segment contracts in Africa registered an increase with one contract in November 2021, when compared with no contracts in the previous month, according to GlobalData’s oil and gas contracts database.

A total of one contract were registered in the midstream segment of Africa during the month, when compared with the last 12-month moving average of four contracts.


In terms of the number of contracts in Africa, the upstream segment contributed the most with 13 contracts in November 2021, followed by downstream and midstream segments with two and one contract, respectively.

In November 2021, Tanzania held one contract and a 100% share of the midstream oil and gas contracts in Africa.

Based on 12-month moving average of the contracts in the midstream segment of Africa, Egypt and Nigeria took the top spot with one contract each.
