Minsala Marine is a conventional oil development located in shallow water in Congo Republic and is operated by Eni Congo. Discovered in 2014, Minsala Marine lies in block Marine XII and Minsala, with water depth of around 246 feet.

The project is currently in feasibility stage and is expected to start commercial production in 2026. Final investment decision (FID) of the project will be approved in 2024. The Minsala Marine conventional oil development will involve the drilling of approximately one wells.

The field is owned by Lukoil Oil, Societe Nationale des Petroles du Congo and Eni.


Production from Minsala Marine

Production from the Minsala Marine conventional oil development project is expected to begin in 2026 and is forecast to peak in 2028, to approximately 31,310 bpd of crude oil and condensate and 184 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, the production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2041.


Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 122.13 Mmboe, comprised of 61.75 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 362.24 bcf of natural gas reserves.
