MON recorded a decrease of 5% in total oil and gas production to 112.95 boe/d in August 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s USL48 database.

The oil and gas production of MON grew 26.97% in August 2021 from 88.96 boe/d in August 2020.

On a YTD basis, the company’s total oil and gas production increased by 6.56% from the same period in 2020.

The company’s oil production declined 20.93% to 72.84 bd in August 2021 from the previous month, while gas production up by 43.75% to 0.23 mmcf/d. On a YTD basis, oil production increased by 3.51% in 2021 when compared with the same period in 2020, while gas production rose by 22.97%. Out of the total oil and gas production in August 2021, oil production held a 64.49% share, while gas production held a 35.1% share.


Looking at the states where MON recorded the highest oil and gas production in August 2021, Texas figured at the top, accounting for a 100% share. The company produced 112.95 boe/d in the state in August 2021, a decrease of 5% from the previous month.

On a YTD basis, the company produced 829.35 boe/d in Texas in 2021, recording an increase of 6.56% from the same period in 2020.



MON witnessed the highest oil and gas production in Gray county in August 2021. Out of all the counties, Gray county held a share of 99.02% for the firm. The company produced 111.84 boe/d in Gray county in August 2021, a decrease of 4.85% in production when compared with the previous month.

On a YTD basis, the county produced 821.61 boe/d for the company in 2021, a 7.04% increase from the same period in 2020.
