The Northeast British Columbia (CNRL) BC unconventional gas field recovered 48.65% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2015. The peak production was approximately 16.99 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 521 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2040. The field currently accounts for approximately 1% of the country’s daily output.

The field is expected to recover 362.69 Mmboe, comprised of 47.08 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 1,893.67 bcf of natural gas reserves.
