Ofrima is a conventional oil development located in shallow water in Nigeria and is operated by Addax Petroleum Development Nigeria. Discovered in 2007, Ofrima lies in block OML 137, with water depth of around 295 feet.

The project is currently in approval stage and is expected to start commercial production in 2024.

The field is owned by China Petrochemical.


Production from Ofrima

Production from the Ofrima conventional oil development project is expected to begin in 2024 and is forecast to peak in 2026, to approximately 4,712 bpd of crude oil and condensate. Based on economic assumptions, the production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2069.


Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 19.22 Mmboe, comprised of 19.22 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate.
