Oil and gas contracts in South America registered a decrease of 69% in January 2022 with eight contracts, when compared with 26 contracts in the previous month, according to GlobalData’s oil and gas contracts database.

The activity marked a decrease of 64%, when compared with the last 12-month average of 22 contracts.

Guyana stood second with two contracts and a 25% share.
