Production from Berri
The Berri conventional oil field recovered 49.25% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 1976. The peak production was approximately 767.89 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 606.00 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2062. The field currently accounts for approximately 3% of the country’s daily output.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 7,512.73 Mmboe, comprised of 7,019.55 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 2,959.11 bcf of natural gas reserves. Berri conventional oil field reserves accounts 1.67% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional oil fields globally.
