Production from Chourouq

The Chourouq conventional oil field recovered 95.63% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2009. The peak production was approximately 8.75 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2026. The field currently accounts for approximately 2% of the country’s daily output.

The field is expected to recover 0.97 Mmboe, comprised of 0.96 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 0.11 bcf of natural gas reserves.
