Production from Dukhan
The Dukhan conventional oil field recovered 87.97% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2007. The peak production was approximately 305.69 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate, 591.00 Mmcfd of natural gas and 50.00 thousand bpd of natural gas liquids. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2036. The field currently accounts for approximately 5% of the country’s daily output.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 828.52 Mmboe, comprised of 808.79 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 118.36 bcf of natural gas reserves. Dukhan conventional oil field reserves accounts 0.18% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional oil fields globally.
