Field participation details
The field is owned by ConocoPhillips, Eni, HitecVision, Petoro, Sval Energi and TotalEnergies.
Production from Ekofisk
The Ekofisk conventional oil field recovered 90.44% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2002. The peak production was approximately 296.77 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate, 265.00 Mmcfd of natural gas and 10.42 thousand bpd of natural gas liquids. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2048. The field currently accounts for approximately 2% of the country’s daily output.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 442.56 Mmboe, comprised of 409.38 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate, 152.78 bcf of natural gas reserves and 7.71 Mmbbl of natural gas liquid reserves. Ekofisk conventional oil field reserves accounts 0.10% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional oil fields globally.
