Production from Gemah, Makmur, Betara, Geragai & Ripah
The Gemah, Makmur, Betara, Geragai & Ripah conventional gas field recovered 62.58% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2007. The peak production was approximately 18.58 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 258.00 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2075. The field currently accounts for approximately 3% of the country’s daily output.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 231.88 Mmboe, comprised of 73.77 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 948.64 bcf of natural gas reserves. Gemah, Makmur, Betara, Geragai & Ripah conventional gas field reserves accounts 0.08% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional gas fields globally.
