Production from Morakot
The Morakot conventional gas field recovered 42.73% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2022. The peak production was approximately 6.96 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 146.00 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2049. The field currently accounts for approximately 5% of the country’s daily output.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 123.78 Mmboe, comprised of 22.80 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 605.85 bcf of natural gas reserves. Morakot conventional gas field reserves accounts 0.04% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional gas fields globally.
