Production from North Kuwait Jurassic

The North Kuwait Jurassic conventional gas field recovered 32.86% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production expected in 2023. The peak production was approximately 270.60 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 902.00 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2043. The field currently accounts for approximately 12% of the country’s daily output.

Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 1,729.73 Mmboe, comprised of 856.89 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 5,237.05 bcf of natural gas reserves. North Kuwait Jurassic conventional gas field reserves accounts 0.59% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional gas fields globally.
