Production from OML 58
The OML 58 conventional oil field recovered 73.88% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2019. The peak production was approximately 21.26 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate, 230.00 Mmcfd of natural gas and 211 Mmcfd of liquid natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2046. The field currently accounts for approximately 3% of the country’s daily output.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 398.07 Mmboe, comprised of 21.16 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate, 801.17 bcf of natural gas reserves and 1,460.28 bcf of liquid natural gas reserves.
