Production from Shah Deniz
The Shah Deniz conventional gas field recovered 28.52% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production expected in 2028. The peak production will approximately 112.48 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 2,509.00 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2074. The field currently accounts for approximately 45% of the country’s daily output.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 3,493.18 Mmboe, comprised of 609.24 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 17,303.59 bcf of natural gas reserves. Shah Deniz conventional gas field reserves accounts 1.19% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional gas fields globally.
