Production from Sofiya
The Sofiya conventional gas field recovered 27.77% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2020. The peak production was approximately 0.22 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 41.00 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2058. The field currently accounts for approximately 1% of the country’s daily output.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 27.24 Mmboe, comprised of 0.47 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 160.62 bcf of natural gas reserves. Sofiya conventional gas field reserves accounts 0.01% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional gas fields globally.
