Production from Tambococha

The Tambococha heavy oil field recovered 22.58% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production expected in 2023. The peak production was approximately 48.48 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 1.00 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2081. The field currently accounts for approximately 7% of the country’s daily output.

Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 206.82 Mmboe, comprised of 206.04 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 4.65 bcf of natural gas reserves. Tambococha heavy oil field reserves accounts 0.48% of total remaining reserves of producing heavy oil fields globally.
