Tolmount is a producing conventional gas field located in shallow water in the UK and is operated by Premier Oil E&P UK. According to GlobalData, who tracks more than 34,000 active and developing oil and gas fields worldwide, the field is located in block 42/28d ALL, with water depth of 180 feet. Buy the profile here.

An expansion project is associated with the Tolmount, namely the Tolmount Infill Development. This project is currently in the feasibility stage, expected to start in 2024.

Field participation details

The field is owned by Harbour Energy and Korea National Oil.

Production from Tolmount

The Tolmount conventional gas field recovered 11.39% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production expected in 2023. The peak production was approximately 1.99 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 208.00 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2039. The field currently accounts for approximately 2% of the country’s daily output.

Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 68.57 Mmboe, comprised of 4.33 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 385.43 bcf of natural gas reserves. Tolmount conventional gas field reserves accounts 0.02% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional gas fields globally.
