Pao De Acucar is a conventional gas development located in ultra-deepwater in Brazil and is operated by Equinor Brasil Energia . Pao De Acucar lies in block C-M-539, with water depth of around 9,515 feet.
The project is currently in approval stage and is expected to start commercial production in 2027. Final investment decision (FID) of the project will be approved in 2023. The Pao De Acucar conventional gas development will includes FPSO and subsea trees.
Production from Pao De Acucar
Production from the Pao De Acucar conventional gas development project is expected to begin in 2027 and is forecast to peak in 2030, to approximately 43 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, the production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2045.
