The petrochemicals segment contracts in Middle East registered a decrease of 40% with three contracts in July 2022, when compared with the previous month’s total of five contracts, according to GlobalData’s oil and gas contracts database.

A total of three contracts were registered in the petrochemicals segment of Middle East during the month, remained flat when compared with the last 12-month average contracts.

In July 2022, Saudi Arabia led the activity with two contracts and a 67% share of the petrochemicals oil and gas contracts in Middle East. It saw a decrease of 33% over the previous month’s total of three contracts and an increase of 100% when compared with the last 12 month-average of one contract in Saudi Arabia.

In second place was the UAE with one contract and a 33% share.
