PNG II LNG Liquefaction Terminal, Papua New Guinea

Located in National Capital in Papua New Guinea, the PNG II LNG liquefaction terminal is owned by TotalEnergies, Exxon Mobil, Oil Search, and others and will be operated by Total E&P PNG, once it becomes operational in 2027.

The PNG II LNG liquefaction terminal will source gas from the following fields -Elk-Antelope (Papua LNG) and PNG LNG project

With two trains, PNG II terminal will have an initial LNG production capacity of 5.4Mtpa (million tons per annum).

During the period 2021-2025, the PNG II liquefaction plant is expected to witness an estimated capex of $1,632m.
