Sercan is a producing conventional gas field located in shallow water in Trinidad and Tobago and is operated by EOG Resources Trinidad. The field is located in block East Manzanilla JV, with water depth of 1,641 feet.

Production from Sercan

The Sercan conventional gas field recovered 35.53% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2020. The peak production was approximately 152 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2040. The field currently accounts for approximately 4% of the country’s daily output.


Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 56.89 Mmboe, comprised of 341.33 bcf of natural gas reserves. Sercan conventional gas field reserves accounts 0.02% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional gas fields globally.
