LNG Vietnam will operate the upcoming Son My Floating LNG regasification terminal, proposed to be built in Binh Thuan in Vietnam. The terminal is expected to start operations in 2025 and will be owned by Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group, Tokyo Gas, and others.


The Son My Floating LNG regasification terminal has a proposed regasification capacity of 243.5bcf/annum (billion cubic feet) and storage capacity of 0.15 million tons (Mt).


During the period 2021-2025, the Son My Floating regasification terminal is expected to witness an estimated capex of $351.44m.
