Caofeidian Xintian LNG will operate the upcoming Tangshan II LNG regasification terminal, proposed to be built in Hebei in China. The terminal is expected to start operations in 2022 and will be owned by Caofeidian Xintian LNG and China Suntien Green Energy.
The Tangshan II LNG regasification terminal has a proposed regasification capacity of 340.9bcf/annum (billion cubic feet) and storage capacity of 0.37 million tons (Mt).
Subsequent expansion at the Tangshan II regasification terminal will increase its capacity by 243.5bcf/annum.
During the period 2021-2025, the Tangshan II regasification terminal is expected to witness an estimated capex of $1,147.5m.
