TAPI (Turkmenistan–Afghanistan–Pakistan–India), Turkmenistan

The 1,814km-long, upcoming TAPI (Turkmenistan–Afghanistan–Pakistan–India) Project will be operated by TAPI Pipeline. This onshore, gas pipeline, with a maximum diameter of 56 inches, will start in Mary Province (Turkmenistan) and ends in Punjab (India).

The TAPI (Turkmenistan–Afghanistan–Pakistan–India) Project is expected to commence operations in 2023 and will be owned by Turkmengaz, Afghan Gas Enterprise, GAIL (India), Sui Southern Gas, and Sui Northern Gas Pipelines.

The TAPI (Turkmenistan–Afghanistan–Pakistan–India) Project is associated with the 613km Turkmenistan Eastern Gas Transmission.

During the period 2021-2025, the TAPI (Turkmenistan–Afghanistan–Pakistan–India) Project is expected to witness an estimated capex of $2,000m.
