Production from Trinmar Area

The Trinmar Area heavy oil field recovered 93.52% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 1969. The peak production was approximately 69.33 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2038. The field currently accounts for approximately 3% of the country’s daily output.

The field is expected to recover 64.79 Mmboe, comprised of 52.26 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 75.18 bcf of natural gas reserves. Trinmar Area heavy oil field reserves accounts 0.15% of total remaining reserves of producing heavy oil fields globally.
