U-Thong Conventional Oil Field, Thailand

U-Thong is a producing conventional oil field located onshore Thailand and is operated by PTT Exploration and Production Public. The field is located in block PTTEP 1.

The field is owned by PTT Public, Toyo Engineering, Kanto Natural Gas Development, Mitsui and Chevron.


Production from U-Thong

The U-Thong conventional oil field recovered 99.58% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 1995. The peak production was approximately 1.21 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2025.


Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 0.02 Mmboe, comprised of 0.02 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate.
