Uinta Shale witnessed a decrease of 1.83% in total oil and gas production to 5,74,776.49 boe/d in November 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s USL48 database.
The oil and gas production in Uinta grew 6.08% in November 2021 from 5,41,837.72 boe/d in November 2020. On a YTD basis, the total oil and gas production in the play increased by 2% from the same period in 2020.
In Uinta, oil production declined 7.08% in November 2021 as compared with the previous month, while gas production decreased by 0.79% to 2,814.41 mmcf/d.
On a YTD basis, oil production in the play increased by 5.44% in 2021 when compared with the same period in 2020, while gas production rose by 1.4%. Out of the total oil and gas production in November 2021, oil held a 15.58% share, while gas had an 84.42% share.
In Uinta, Kinder Morgan emerged as the largest oil and gas producer, recording a total oil and gas production at 1,32,819.87 boe/d in November 2021, an increase of 0.83% from the previous month. The company held a 0.01% share in oil production and 27.37% share in gas production in November 2021.
On a YTD basis, the company registered a 41.77% increase in total oil and gas production from the same period in 2020.
Compared with other counties within Uinta Shale, GARFIELD county recorded the highest oil and gas production, holding a 30.78% share in November 2021. The county witnessed a 0.89% decrease in production to 1,76,901.47 boe/d in November 2021 when compared with the previous month.
On a YTD basis, it registered a decline of 14.28% in total production from the same period in 2020.
