Utah witnessed an increase of 5.93% in total oil and gas production to 1,98,065.64 boe/d in July 2020 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s USL48 database.
The oil and gas production declined 13.52% in July 2020 from 2,29,030.77 boe/d in July 2019. On a YTD basis, the total oil and gas production in 2020 decreased by 12.7% from the same period in 2019.
In July 2020, oil production grew 11.32% to 84,753.74 bd as against the previous month, while gas production up by 2.22% to 657.21 mmcf/d.
On a YTD basis, oil production decreased by 16.67% in 2020 when compared with the same period in 2019, while gas production declined by 9.56%. Out of the total oil and gas production in July 2020, oil held a 42.79% share, while gas had a 57.21% share.
In Utah, Caerus Production emerged as the largest oil and gas producer, recording a total oil and gas production at 38,446.95 boe/d in July 2020, an increase of 3.02% from the previous month. The company held a 0.97% share in oil production and 33.2% share in gas production in July 2020.
