Utah witnessed a decrease of 2.17% in total oil and gas production to 2,17,177.29 boe/d in November 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s USL48 database.
The oil and gas production grew 12.23% in November 2021 from 1,93,515.89 boe/d in November 2020. On a YTD basis, the total oil and gas production in 2021 increased by 3.89% from the same period in 2020.
In November 2021, oil production declined 4.4% to 1,02,939.8 bd as against the previous month, while gas production declined by 0.06% to 662.58 mmcf/d.
On a YTD basis, oil production increased by 11.65% in 2021 when compared with the same period in 2020, while gas production declined by 1.84%. Out of the total oil and gas production in November 2021, oil held a 47.4% share, while gas had a 52.6% share.
In Utah, EP Energy emerged as the largest oil and gas producer, recording a total oil and gas production at 33,367.62 boe/d in November 2021, an increase of 12.41% from the previous month. The company held a 21.69% share in oil production and 9.66% share in gas production in November 2021.
